Wind Advsiory Remains in Effect

4/25/14 – A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9:00 pm this evening with the strongest winds expected late this afternoon and into the evening. Winds speeds are predicted between 30-40 and gusting up to 57MPH. Driving may become difficult especially for high profile vehicles. Watch for areas of blowing dust and low visibility.

On Saturday this storm will move through central Arizona bringing colder and windy conditions along with areas of rain and snow. Snow levels will fall as low as 500- feet in some places but will generally range from 6000 to 7000 feet. Several inches of snowfall arepossible above 6000 feet especially from Flagstaff northward to the Kaibab Plateau. Rain and snow will end from west to east by Saturday evening with fair conditions returning as early as Sunday.
