Tussock Fire Smoke Report 5/11/2021

The Tussock Fire is approximately 4,400 acres. Yesterday afternoon, as the fire became more active, especially on the southeast side, smoke rose and dispersed toward the northeast. Strong surface heating once again allowed most of this smoke to remain elevated off the ground. Winds this afternoon are forecast to be southwest at 10-20mph. Smoke is forecast to rise and disperse toward the east today.
