Thanks for all your updates. I am concerned for the Show Low area people. I hope fire is being put out and fast. It is getting ridiculous. Third times now since I have lived out here. The perpetrator, careless and criminal, needs to be known and publicized after investigation. I don’t even know who started the one by Vernon, was it last year or before that? I live east of White Mountain–in Show Low Pines on a chicken farm. My question is, has the fire been put out yet or contained? Thanks for staying up and staying tuned with North East area and informing us. I am grateful for your website. Thanks to all the staff!
The fire is not contained and is still under investigation.
6:10 AM Thursday June 16 …… Other than ABC News saying the fire is 3000 acres there has been no official news since last night. Why?
Please refer to latest post.

What roads can we use for the escape route? Why isn’t this information being posted anywhere?

Smoke thick in the Linden area. Any updates yet
Please see the most recent post. Smoke will be heavy all over during this fire.
We are at Walmart in Taylor. Which direction should we head to get out of the smoke?
I would suggest going towards Flagstaff or the west.
Am praying for the safety of the firefighters – Forest Service, BLM, BIA, Show Low & Pinetop-Lakeside FD’s & all the rest battling this blaze.
