The Navajo County Sheriffs Office has been receiving several calls from citizens where a male subject has been stating they have their relatives and demanding ransom. The Sheriff’s Office has investigated the incidents and they are confirmed to be a scam.

If you receive a call from someone demanding money hang up the phone immediately, do not give them any information and contact your family members. Please report this to your local law enforcement and report this crime.
