    • We don’t have that information yet, but if you live in those areas, I would strongly recommend preparing. The fire was last reported to be moving in a northeasterly direction.

    • Fire is pretty unpredictable. It depends on wind, humidity, and fuels. Right now, we could not answer that. Once we hear from the fire crew, we will know more.

  1. From a distance it appears as if the smoke has greatly reduced viewing it NE of Show Low. Any indication of the fire lessoning? Or has just the winds shifted?

  2. I’m sure in behalf of all residents, we want to thank you for your dedication to our areas safety. May all return home soon and back with their families.

    • At the moment, that area is on pre-evacuation notice. There is a good chance that the area will be evacuated at some point, if the fire does not change course.

  3. I HAVE A HOME IN SUMMER PINES JUST SOUTH OF SHOW LOW. I CAME TO PHOENIX TO CONDUCT SOME BUSINESS ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. I SAW ON THE NEWS ABOUT THE FIRE. I WONDER IF SUMMER PINES IS SAFE ?
    ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ?

  4. We VERY much appreciate the info and all the efforts to deal with the fire and keeping us all updated. THANK YOU!!!
