11/3 PUBLIC SAFETY UPDATE

Flooding conditions don’t end with the rainfall. Navajo County continues to actively monitor weather conditions, including water levels as a result of water running into the Little Colorado River from surrounding lakes and reservoirs. We remain in contact with the US National Weather Service Flagstaff Arizona to stay informed of changing conditions.

We are working around the clock with ground crews to evaluate the evacuated areas in the Winslow area. We are verifying the safety of surrounding roads and access points.We urge everyone to continue to remain alert, use caution, and take weather and flood-related warnings seriously.
