UPDATE: At 3:10 pm. Currently this fire is between 3 to 5 acres. Forest Service has ground crew members on scene. They are attacking the fire by aviation, there is also a dozer line around the fire, and air tankers to maintain the line. Helicopter is on scene for hot spots. Forest Service, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, Navajo County Emergency Management, Timber Mesa Fire, and Show Low Police Department are all working together to provide updated and accurate information as well as suppress the fire.

As of right now, the neighborhoods of Cheney Ranch, Indian Mission, Full House, Smith Ranch, and Hog Wash are all in SET Mode.
