The trigger point for Show Low up the Hwy 60 corridor was Forest Dale, which has been evacuated. The fire crews feel confident that they have the north side of the fire secure, however this is a wild fire and as we all know they can be unpredictable, therefore we must remain vigilant and at the ready.
I have posted many of my comments and none have actually been posted.
Those of us that live in the white mountains appreciate every person that is saving our community!
We are a slice of heaven here in the white mountains and I want to state that the folks that frequent our communities please be careful and treat our community with respect. Us local people live here year around. We had 100 fires that were left over the Memorial Day weekend. Please weather a local person or a tourist coming to visit PLEASE BE FIRE WISE, USE COMMON SENSE, DONT THROW YOUR CIGARETTES OUT OF YOUR CAR, IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE A CAMPFIRE PUT IT OUT, AND IF YOU DONT KNOW THE PROPER TECHNIQUE TO EXTINGUISH A CAMP FIRE THEN DONT BUILD A CAMP FIRE! We love our community and the people that live here, Please be smart.
I have lived in Lakeside Az my whole life and we have never had so many man made fires in the 41 years I have been here, PLEASE everyone pass this post on to your friends, family, community groups, ect.
Thank-you so much for posting the town meetings. I self-evacuated due to breathing problems but still want to stay informed. And thank-you for everything you all are doing!!
Make the map big enough where we can actually ready the info on it. Or make it expandable please.
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks for adding photo. Great addition to the information you are providing.
guess I’m map-impaired. How close is the fire to Show Low, trigger points?
Also, what was the synopsis of the most recent Community Meeting?

Any chance we could get this in a larger (read: readable) version?

The fire line looks very close to Highway 73. Is that road still open and is there any serious discussion about it being closed soon?
Highway 73 is still open and we have not received any word that it is expected to be closed any time soon.
Could you please clarify? Forest Dale has been evacuated? thanks.
Forestdale has been evacuated, yes.
