  1. We live in Apache County and have signed up for their emergency alerts, but my husband works in Lakeside and wants to know if he can sign up for emergency alerts in that area as well.

  2. Think positive and pray. We have fantastic men and women working on this thing. Remember to respect each other if we do have to go.

  3. The address for Snowflake High School is 190 S. 2nd St. W. You have it listed as 190 South West in your most recent update.

    Thank you,

    Matt

      • Can an announcement and address be made public as this is the first I have seen it and afraid people will miss it and leave pets behind out of panic.

      • Per Navajo County Animal Control, Arizona Humane Society will be setting up a shelter for SMALL only animals at the Snowflake High School. NOTE: They will not except any animals until an evacuation order is given.
Large animals will be excepted at the Navajo County Fair Grounds in Holbrook.

  4. It almost doubled since last night… Where and how far is the fire located with respect to Show Low, Pinetop and Lakeside?

      • So it would not be wise to head to Pinetop? My husband is there and I was supposed to head up with the kids tomorrow. Yesterday there were constant updates and not much today. Have they stopped it from spreading in that direction?

        • I would not suggest traveling to the Pinetop area. That area is under Pre-evacuation notice. In the event of an evacuation, all routes need to be as free of traffic as possible. The fire is still traveling to the northeast and is about 8 miles south of Pinetop. Working on getting more informaiton.

  5. Thank you for the updates, we are glued to your site because we have family there in Pinetop Lakeside who are not leaving until they are told to. So scary and stressful time, we are praying for all involved.
