Due to the forest fire on Marshall Mountain CR 3144 is closed from CR 3148 to the Navajo County line. Crews are currently on scene working to contain the fire. Residences in the area of FR 283 and CR 3144 have been notified and given pre-evacuation precautions.

Apache County Emergency Management along with other partners are on scene of the Marshall Fire in Vernon, AZ. The fire is currently sitting at about 80 acres. Apache County Sheriffs office has notified some homes to be on SET status. Please avoid the area as emergency vehicles are coming in an out of the area!
