311 Phone Lines

6/16/16 2:00 – We have received several calls that the 311 phone line is not working. The  Frontier phone lines are being overwhelmed with calls and that is causing it to become overwhelmed. We understand that you want the latest information and we are working with law enforcement and fire officials to obtain an update. We hope to bring you new information as soon as possible.

  1. One of our associates called for information and was told that the community is no longer being told how far the fire is from the trigger point. Is that correct? If so, what would be the reason for that?

  2. Could not access your website. We live in Lakeside, AZ. We would like to know if the fire is heading our direction. If so is there any idea of when an evacuation notice will be given if any. I’m getting afraid to stay in our home.

    • Please note we will give as much notice as we are able to provide. Lines are holding at this time. If you choose to self-evacuate we would ask you to let us know.

    • I’m relieved we don’t (so far) have to evacuate! Packing up 4 horses and 3 dogs and all the boxes of legal papers has taken me 2 days. Thank goodness we haven’t had to leave within “a matter of minutes”. They don’t call ’em “hot shots” for nothing!
Heart-felt thanks to all the people involved in saving our lives and community, and reaching out to help!

  3. Don’t panic folks. It’s more the idea of being forced out of our homes and/or then locked in our homes if we stay. Fires are part of living in the forest.
