  1. telephone 311 still not working. 9:15 am June 16, 2016. I live in Sierra Pines sub- division in south west Show Low. Will fire hydrants be activated on Bristlecone Drive should the fire reach this area? Getting windy with light ashes and smoke. Would like fire update as soon as possible.

    • Please refer to recent updates on Emergency Management Facebook pages and/ or this site. We are workign on getting more updates.

  2. Lots of heavy smoke and ashes flying around here in Show Low. My college campus, NPC is closed today. My boyfriend, Jason Craven is a firefighter in this Cedar Creek fire. They are working so hard on this fire that even I can’t get an update. Just that he is ok. Hope they are all ok! We can’t just think of ourselves but all firefighters in the middle of this doing a huge service to all of us to keep our families and homes safe. Please say a prayer for them too. They have families also.
