Scattered snow showers will exit the eastern border of the state around sunrise this morning. Much of the area will see a mostly sunny and cold start to the day with breezy northwest winds.
Cloud cover will increase over the higher terrain from the Mogollon Rim eastward by afternoon as snow showers re-develop. These snow showers will be most numerous near the New Mexico border and over the White Mountains later today and this evening. Heavier showers may produce several inches of new snow late today especially over the White Mountains. Skies will clear by late evening with another cold night expected.
Expect ice and snow packed roads. Use caution when driving!
