Show Low High School Lock Down

Show Low, AZ – Show Low Police Department received a telephone call at 6:51am on March 11, 2016 from the Show Low School District Office. District employees received a phone call from a parent who said they saw an armed student going into the parking lot of Show Low High School.
Show Low schools were placed on an immediate lock down and officers from Show Low Police Department and all surrounding law enforcement agencies responded.
A search of the school campus was conducted and the student in question was located. It was determined the weapon was a BB gun which had been left in the student’s car. After making sure the campus was safe, the school lock down was lifted at approximately 8:13am.
The circumstances surrounding this call are currently under investigation by Show Low Police Department.
