5/6/14 8:30 – A Red Flag Warning remains in effect from 9:00 am this morning until 8:00 pm this evening. Winds out of the southwest will be at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Areas of blowing dust are possible across northeastern Arizona and may reduce visibility on roadways causing hazardous driving conditions.

A Red Flag Warning means that Critical Fire Weather conditions are either occuring or are imminent and with this system the minimum relative humidity is as low as 8% and winds are strong enough to contribute to extreme fire behavior.
