If you are seeing or smelling smoke in the Show Low and surrouding areas it is from a prescribed burn called the Los Burros Piles.  The prescribed burn is located at Township 9N, Range 24E, Section 35.  Smoke is visible from Highways 60 and 260 from Vernon to Porter Mountain.
