Monsoonal Moisture returns for the Labor Day Weekend!
Friday through Sunday a trough will move across Arizona increasing coverage for rain showers and thunderstorms from south to north. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop and may continue through the overnight hours this weekend. The main threat will be from heavy rain and localized flash flooding.
For our citizens and visiters in the region please make sure to choose your campsites carefully and remember to avoid low lying areas. Even though we have monsoonal moisture it is NEVER acceptable to leave a campfire unattended. Additionally, never enter flooded roadways, they can be very treacherous even with small amounts of water. For moore weather updates visit: http://www.weather.gov/
Have a safe holiday weekend!!
