6/18/14 8:00 – A low pressure system and trough will move east of the region with lower wind speeds today out of the southwest. Wind speeds will be around 15 to 25 mph and gust around 40 mph are extpected this afternoon. Warm and dry weather with lighter winds are forecast through Monday.
Update on Dehose Fire burning East of Cibecue

Fire Activity: The DeHose Fire was detected late Monday evening. The fire is estimated to be about 40 acres and is located within the Rodeo-Chediski burn area about 4 miles east of Cibecue along Cibecue Ridge. Fire Crews are working on hand line and securing the flanks of the fire. Weather is a main concern as red flag conditions are in effect for the Fort Apache Indian Reservation with high winds and low relative humidity forecasted until 9:00 PM today.

Red Flag Warning for Tuesday
06/17/14 – 6:00am – The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning which is in effect for today from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with southwest winds from 25-35 MPH and gusts 45-55 MPH. Humidity levels are between 8 and 15 percent.
