White Powder Substance At the Navajo County Complex

2/2/2015 – A white powdery substance was located in an envelope that was opened by an employee of the Navajo County Clerk of the Courts office. At this time the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office and the Holbrook Police Department have taken precautionary measures and are not allowing anyone into the governmental complex in Holbrook located on Hwy 77 at Hwy 377.

The Department of Public Safety and the FBI are enroute to further evaluate the situation and provide input. Additional updates will be provided as information is received. Once again, if you have business at the Navajo County Complex in Holbrook (only the complex on Hwy 77), please do not attempt to enter the facility until further notice.

Fog This Morning in Northeastern Arizona

2/1/15 – Lingering moisture and wet ground conditions will result in areas of low clouds and fog across portions of Northeastern Arizona this morning and potentially again tonight. In particular areas along and adjacent to the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains as well as valleys of Northeast Arizona will be most susceptible to locally dense fog.
