Smoke from the Cedar fire is blanketing most areas in the white mountains.  Persons with respiratory issues should stay indoors with windows shut. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

We will not receive further updates on the fire tonight. We will post new information as soon as we receive it in the morning. If  you live in Navajo County, and have not done so, please sign up with Ready Navajo County. The site is www.navajocountyaz.gov. Click on the quick link Ready Navajo County. If you have signed up as a resident, you will be notified by either text, email, or landline of evacuations in your area.

The only pre evacuation areas are Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside.  No other areas are in pre evacuation notice.
