Cedar Creek Fire Update

6/16/16 8:00 – The most recent update from fire officials this morning has the estimated acres at 5,500+. Crews continued to work through the night on back burning areas to contain the fire in certain areas.  The communities of Pinetop, Lakeside, and Show Low are still under Pre-evacuation notice. Please make sure to be ready to leave if an evacuation order is issued. Make sure to pack any required medications, clothes, pet care needs. Pets will not be allowed at the shelter which is going to be at the Snowflake High School which is located at 190 South West, Snowflake.

As of now, we are obtaining the most up-to-date information regarding the progress of the Cedar Creek Fire, forecast information, as well as pre-evacuation/ evacuation notice status.
