Fire update

***6/20/16 at 3:58 pm****
At this time, the fire activity has increased on the eastern flank, which is the normal activity expected during the hottest/driest part of the day. The fire has not crossed the control lines established on that side. The winds have shifted back from yesterday’s northerly winds (which pushed smoke south) to south/southwesterly winds (which are pushing smoke north/northeast). Daytime heating is lifting the smoke and breezy conditions are transporting it back to the north into Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside.
