Summary: Fire personnel from the Forest Service and Timber Mesa Fire responded to a fire east of Show Low Lake at approximately 10:00 this morning.  Despite the windy conditions, fire crews were able to put a control line around the fire.  They will continue to work in the area until the fire is extinguished.

Resources Assigned: 1 Helicopter, 2 Engines from Timber Mesa Fire, 2 Engines from Lakeside Ranger District, 1 Engine from Springerville Ranger District, 1 Dozer and Miscellaneous Fire Personnel

4/11/17 11:30 -Fire crews are on scene at a small 3 acre fire in the Jacques Marsh area.

There are no structures threatened at this time however smoke will be visible throughout the area (not expected to impact travel).

The cause is currently under investigation.
