Ready Navajo County Alert Error

2/21/19 – At 9:36 the Ready Navajo County alert system put out an alert about “Areal Flooding”, this was an error triggered incorrectly by the link between our system and with the National Weather Service. When Phoenix NWS sent out the alert they inadvertently added more than just the affected counties in central Arizona. Navajo County has been in contact with them to get corrective measures taken so that the flood warning should not be pushed out again unless it is for our county. We will continue to check on this issue to ensure our alerts are accurate and timely.
