SR 87 has reopened between Phoenix and Payson

The following highways remain closed across our region:

I-17 northbound is closed from State Route 179 (Sedona turnoff) to Flagstaff

SR 89A is closed in both directions between Sedona and Flagstaff

SR 87 is closed in both directions from Payson to Winslow.

SR 260 is closed in both directions between Star Valley and Heber.  SR 260 is closed in both directions from just east of I-17 to SR 87

US 60 is closed in both directions between SR 73 and just northeast of Globe

SR 77 is closed in both directions between Globe and Winkelman

US 191 is closed in both directions between Alpine and Morenci

Heavy Snow Across the Region

With heavy snow is all areas of Apache and Navajo County, we are advising everyone to avoid driving. Please stay home. There is widespread snow, and the snowplows are doing their best to keep up. With that, here are some of the accumulations that we received from Apache and Navajo County early this morning:

Alpine- 27 inches          Ganado – 8 inches

Nutrioso- 12 inches          Window Rock- 12 inches

Eagar- 10 inches         Sanders- 6 inches

Vernon- 10 inches          Greer- 20 inches

Heber/Overgaard approximately 30 inches of snow

Show Low approximately 24 inches of snow and it continues to fall

Pinetop approximately 24 inches of snow and it continues to fall

Snowflake 15 inches and it is snowing lightly

Holbrook 4.5 inches

Winslow 4 inches
