According to NOAA, a dry cold front will pass across N. Arizona on Wednesday bringing breezy conditions, and near Red-Flag criteria to the lower elevations of NE Arizona. It will be cooler on Thursday, with a warming trend through the weekend. No significant storms are expected for the next week to 10 days.
As our dry winter continues, we need to start thinking about the impacts that this may have on our fire season. Current outlooks anticipate a dry and warm Spring. We should start to prepare for what may be an early and significant fire season ahead.
