5/2/14 – The minimal amounts of precipitation that were received last weekend in some areas did not alleviate the fire weather conditions. High pressure with dry conditions and above normal temperatures can be expected through Sunday. Approaching Sunday and early into next week the weather will bring the threat of southwest winds and low relative humidity and critical fire weather conditions.

We would like to remind our citizens and visitors that Navajo & Apache Counties as well as most other local, state and federal areas are all under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions. Please check with specific agencies to find out the specific do’s and don’ts if you have questions.
