Fog Returning to Northern Arizona Tonight

1/27/2015 – Lingering moisture and wet ground conditions could result in the formation of patches of low clouds and fog across portions of north central Arizona from the Grand Canyon to along and south of the Mogollon Rim for tonight.

Another low pressure center off the Baja Coast will strengthen and move across Arizona from late Thursday through late Saturday. This storm has the potential to produce between one and two inches of liquid precipitation. Current projections keep the snow level at or above the 7500-8000 foot level through Friday afternoon then falling to 6500-7000 feet Friday night through Saturday.

Road 3140 closing in Vernon-McNary

Apache County Roads Department will be closing a portion of County Road 3140, also known as the Vernon-McNary Road, also known as Forest Service Road 224, from the Carlock Ranch gate south to the cattle guard just north of McNary. The road closure will take place on Thursday January 29, 2015 until further notice due to the hazards of the roadway surface caused by recent weather activities.
