The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Thursday April 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Winds will range from 15 to 30 MPH with gusts reaching 25-35 MPH up to 50 MPH. Impacts to along Interstate 40 with blowing dust may cause hazardous driving conditions especially for high profile vehicles. Consider securing loose belongings on your property.

4/1/15 – Is your home ready for wildfire season? Have you cleared the space around your home from brush and debris? Cleaned the gutters? These are just a few of the simple things that could mean all the difference this wildfire season in saving your home! Every year 1,500 fires are started in Arizona and as good as they are our brave firefighters need your help! Have their backs this year by creating a defensible space around your home, get a kit together and create a plan for your family and live Firewise!
WildFire Prevention Week
3/30/15 – Governor Doug Ducey has signed a proclamation declaring the week of March 30-April4, 2015 “Wildfire Prevention Week”. The theme for this year is “Where We Live, How We Live, Living with Wildfire.” The focus of the week is to increase awareness and to promote actions that reduce the risk from wildfire to homes and communities.
Throughout the week we will bring you more information and messages to share with your family and friends. Today’s message is ‘Never throw a cigarette out of the window of a vehicle’. Use your ashtray to prevent wildfires.
