5/20/18 – Several jurisdictions throughout Northeastern Arizona have initiated fire restrictions.  Navajo County has initiated Stage 3 Fire Restrictions for unincorporated areas. The City of Show Low and the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside and the City of Winslow are also under Stage 3 Fire Restrictions. The Towns of Snowflake and Taylor are under Stage 1 restrictions and the City of Holbrook has initiated a local burn ban (no debris/weed burning).

Attached are the Stage 3 flyers that will shed more light on what is and what is not allowed during Stage 3 Fire Restrictions. Many questions regarding Stage and Federal Forest closures and restrictions have been asked recently. Area closures will be enacted by USFS we will be adding information as soon as more specifics are received.
