Weather update for 1/25/13

Saturday… The low and deep subtropical moisture will continue to move across northern Arizona producing widespread precipitation across the region. Snow levels dropping as low as 8000 feet by Saturday evening.

Sunday through Tuesday… A colder winter storm system will move into Arizona from the northwest. This system has the potential to produce widespread rain and snow. Expect lower snow levels and the possibility for winter driving conditions above 5000 feet. Significant snow amounts are possible with this second system.

Weather Update 1/23/13

Weather Update for Northeastern Arizona

A moist Pacific Low Pressure system will move into Arizona Friday and Saturday bringin widespread showers with snow levels above 8000 feet. The best chances for showers will be Friday and Saturday. There will be a break with lighter more scattered showers late Saturday into Sunday then showers increasing again on monday as a cold and wet storm system approaches. This system has the potential to produce heavy snow. Snow levels are forecast to start out from 5500 to 6500 on Monday and fall between 2500 and 3500 feet on Tuesday.
