Winds will Strengthen Over Night

Winds throughout Northern Arizona will strengthen tonight and continue into tomorrow. Expect strong southwest winds to develop on Wednesday and Thursday as a low pressure trough moves through the Great Basin. A Wind Advisory is in effect Wednesday from the Yavapai County Mountains, Mogollon Rim and White Mountains northward to the Utah Border. Sustained winds of 25 to 35 MPH are expected with gusts up to 45 MPH. Similar winds are expected again on Thursday with gusts up to 45 to 55 MPH.
