Fuels Involved: Ponderosa Pine with a brush and grass understory.
Summary: The fire was detected late Thursday evening. The fire has active flames in the north and northeast portion of the fire. The fire is located in an area that was treated in 2010 and 2011. Firefighters are working on extinguishing the fire. There are currently no structures threatened.
SR 77 Has Now Reopened
State Route 77 between Snowflake and Holbrook has now reopened both lanes of traffic.
