Red Flag Warning In Effect Today!

4/22/14 – The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Northeastern Arizona today! The Red Flag Warning will be in effect until 7 PM tonight. Southwest winds up to 50 MPH with blowing dust is expected throughout the entire area. Strong winds are probable again Friday and Saturday as the next storm system crosses the region. A potential for gusts to 40 MPH or higher with widespread showers are probable for Saturday. In addition there is a potential for snow in Yavapai and Coconino in the higher elevations between 6000 and 7000 feet. Stay tuned for more updates!

A Fire Weather Watch for Northeastern Arizona!

4/21/14 – A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Northeastern Arizona for Tuesday. This means high winds blowing from the southwest 20 to 30 MPH with gusts of 40 to 50 MPH and low relative humidity of 10 to 15 percent. This combination brings critical fire weather to the area throughout the day Tuesday. Please stay tuned for more information and possible Red Flag Warning.
