The Show Low High School lockdown has been lifted and the scene secure according to law enforcement officials after it was reported that a teen entered the campus with a weapon earlier this morning. Law enforcement continues to actively investigate the incident.

Show Low High School is in lockdown this morning due to a report of a teen entering campus with a weapon. Students and faculty are sheltering in place at the school. Police are working with school officials and actively investigating the school campus. More information will be posted as information becomes available

3/9/16 – Mop-up operations will continue today on the Phoenix Fire with containment at 75%. The fire transitioned back to the local resources on the Black Mesa Ranger District. Today the firefighters will continue mop-up of any hot spots and secure the fireline. The fire that started on March 6th has reached 592 acres burning short grass brush and timber.
