Smoke from the Cedar fire is blanketing most areas in the white mountains. Persons with respiratory issues should stay indoors with windows shut. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
As indicated in earlier release, power was de-energized to the Cibecue/Cedar Creek/Carrizo/Forestdale areas at 9:00pm. Power will remain off until the Incident Command instructs us otherwise.
6/15/16 9:15 – The Cedar Creek Fire has reached 3,000+ acres. Crews will continue to work throughout the night. Pre-evacuation orders will remain in place for Show Low, Pinetop, and Lakeside and the immediate surrounding areas. Winds speeds have reduced for tonight however, tomorrows weather forecast shows winds returning to the area with higher temperatures.
