A Strong Cold Front Approaching the Northland Sunday

A strong cold front will approach the northland Sunday night and cross the area Monday. This system will bring southwest winds from 25-40 plus MPH and gusts 35-50 MPH on Monday. Fastest winds should be across Navajo and Apache counties Monday afternoon.

There are good chances for precipitation from Monday through Tuesday evening. Isolated thunderstorms are possible for areas along and north of the Mogollon Rim Monday afternoon. Present indications are for snow levels Monday night to range from 6500 feet on the Kaibab Plateau to around 8000 feet in the White Mountains. Cold and unsettled weather will continue through Tuesday evening.
