A Red Flag Warning remains in effect today from 11:00 am this morning to 8:00 pm this evening for strong winds and low relative humidity. The affected area is from the Mogollon Rim northward to the Utah border. Winds are out of the southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 mph and humidity levels are 4 to 9%.

The Red Flag Warning means that Critical Fire Weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will create expolosive fire growth potential.
