4/19/19 8:00 –  The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for all of Northern Arizona today. The Red Flag Warning is in effect 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 pm this evening. Southwest winds will be 30 to 40 MPH, with gust ranging from 55 to 65 MPH.

*** Absolutely NO BURNING or open flames are allowed! *** 

All burn permit activities are suspended during Red Flag Warnings!

In addition a Dust Storm warning has been issued for areas of Coconino, Navajo and Apache Counties. Visibility could be reduced in certain areas to less than 1/4 of a mile due to blowing dust. Travel could become extremely dangerous. Please use extreme caution when driving.

Persons with respiratory problems should make preparations to stay indoors until the storm passes.
