Red Flag Warning for Friday!

4/24/14- The National Weather Service has advised that a Red Flag Warning will be in effect Friday from noon until 8:00 pm for much of Northeastern Arizona due to strong winds and low relative humidity. An unseasonably strong Pacific storm will approach the southwest on Friday bringing strong winds and very low humidity. Critical Fire Weather conditions are expected to end Friday evening. Areas of blowing dust may affect Northeastern Arizona travel conditions. Make sure to check Az511 for current road information or possible closures.

Saturday a strong late season cold front will move through Northern Arizona producing very strong winds, widespread rand and possible snow along with thunderstorms. Snow levels should fall to around 5500 feet late saturday morning in Coconino and Yavapai Counties.

Sunday expect clearing conditions from west to east with gusty northwest winds.
