The campfire ban on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests has been extended, July 1 – July 31, or until rescinded. The ban prohibits building, maintaining, attending, or using a fire, campfire, or stove fire. Persons using pressurized liquid or gas fueled devices are exempt. No charcoal or wood burning of any kind. We are not in any fire stage restrictions. This is strictly a campfire ban.
The campfire ban includes only the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. For private property fire restrictions, please contact your local county.
